Where does RIBFEST take place?

Can I bring my dog or other pets?
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed in the food areas. On duty service dogs, with documentation are welcome.
What is the cost of admission?
Admission is FREE!
Do food & beverage vendors accept credit or bank cards?
No, Penticton Rotary Ribfest is a cash only event. There will be (4) ATM machines on site.
What other kinds of foods are available in addition to pork ribs?
Our vendors will also serve beef ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, cool treats and one VEGAN/VEGETARIAN supplier! There will also be other snack vendors.
Will there by gluten free BBQ options?
Yes – Boss Hogs, Prairie Smoke & Spice, Misty Mountain BBQ, Smoke & Bones and Gator BBQ will all be serving their Ribs and Sauce which are all gluten free.
Are children allowed in?
ABSOLUTELY…this is a family event! All minors must be accompanied by an adult and there is also a family friendly beverage area too. To enter the family area, adults must be accompanied with some one under the age of 19.
What are the hours of operation?
- Friday, June 30 – Noon – 10 PM
- Saturday, July 1 – Noon – 10 pm
- Sunday, July 2 – Noon – 10 pm

Where can I sit and eat my BBQ ribs?
Within the two beverage areas, tables and chairs will be available to sit at and enjoy your BBQ. If you want to enjoy a cold beverage with your food then the beverage area is where you will want to grab your seat which will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. We have an additional 800 seats in the open area.
What types of BBQ will you be serving in the Beverage areas?
A wide variety of BBQ will be available for purchase from Rib Valet from within the Beverage Areas including Half and Full Racks of Pork Ribs, Half BBQ Chicken, Beef Brisket Sandwiches, Full and Half Racks of Beef Ribs, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Baked Beans, ‘Tators‘ and Coleslaw. The Rib Valet is the best-kept secret at Penticton Rotary Ribfest. It’s simple and easy. Go up to the counter, inside the beverage garden area, order your Ribs from as many Ribbers that you wish at one time. Next, Relax, go sit down and we will text you when they are ready.
